The Clemson Applied Technology Laboratory (CAT Lab) is a research division in the Nieri Department of Construction Real Estate and Development at Clemson University.  Its purpose is to enhance the University's research capabilities by developing applied technologies that improve professional workflows.  The lab specializes in researching unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the built environment and spearheading practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) large language models (LLM).

Greenville County Sherrif's Office

Dr. Burgett led a UAS Thermography workshop with the Greenville County Sherrif's Office.  Fourt law enforcement officers from across the state to learn how to use thermal imagery to support their mission.
