The Clemson Applied Technology Laboratory (CAT Lab) is a research division in the Nieri Department of Construction Real Estate and Development at Clemson University.  Its purpose is to enhance the University's research capabilities by developing applied technologies that improve professional workflows.  The lab specializes in researching unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the built environment and spearheading practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) large language models (LLM).

On April 16th, Dundy vishnu vardhan Kodela successfully defended his master's thesis proposal.  His study is titled "Generative AI in South Carolina Government Agencies:  Assessing Literacy, Usage, and Adoption Support."  He will start his data collection this summer at the SCiDUC Symposium!
